Joint Liability Reform Yes, if a defendant is 50 percent or more at fault or if the defendants acted in concert.
Collateral Source Reform Collateral Source Rule applies. See Cyr v. J.I. Case Co., 652 A.2d 685 (N.H. 1994).
Attorney Fees Limited The court must approve fees for actions resulting in settlement/judgment of $200,000 or more.
Periodic Payments Permitted Yes. The court has authority to order periodic payment. Specificrequirements for med mal cases have been ruled unconstitutional. Carson v. Maurer, 120 N.H. 925 (1980).
